At Father McCabe's funeral, you indicated an interest in the problems I've encountered with sex education in our Archdiocese. Enclosed are three items - a letter, an address, and a critique which I have written concerning that subject.
As you can see, my writings call for a compete restudy of issues relating to sexuality education - of what constitutes "positive and prudent," given these spiritually damaging times.
In terms of the Parents' Petition and my Address to the School Committee, as a parent, my "objection case," and that of others', would be made stronger by a pastoral letter from you condemning public classroom sex instruction.
If you would like to discuss this, I can, of course, talk with you at your convenience.
It was good to see you and Father Bill last week, even though it was sad to bid goodbye to Gile's Mom. Take care.
